Brand History Highlander was founded in the 1980s, when exploring the outdoors was seen as an expensive pursuit. They thought otherwise – that enjoying the challenges and beauty of the outdoors should be available to everyone. Over the years, this ethos has been their North Star as they continually strive to create clothing and equipment that helps everyone to explore their world, their way. 35 years later, this ever-growing passion, and commitment to producing gear that helps people look good, feel good, and stay safe, has helped Highlander become the brand that it is today.
